Thomas G. McCarthy
Tom, a Duluth, Minnesota native, has been acting and directing for the past, well, for a long time. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English from the University of Saint Mary’s in Winona, Tom went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Speech with an emphasis in Theatre from North Dakota State University in Fargo, and the credits equivalent of a Masters degree from the University of Minnesota in Speech Communications. Tom has been a teaching professor in Speech Communications at Anoka Ramsey Community College for the past 24 years and finished a Doctorate of Education at St. Thomas University in 1997. Along with his wife, Patti, Tom began performing and directing theatre at The Seasons at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids and developed the theatre production company, The Seasons Players, that has been providing entertainment of a professional level for the past 20 years. Tom’s been listed in the Who’s Who of American Teachers for the past 8 years running and has also received the prestigious Golden Chalk Award at Anoka Ramsey Community College. A father first, Tom adores his two sons, Christopher, a college student at Minnesota State University Mankato and Jonathon, a junior at Coon Rapids High School. In 2007, Tom became the most proud father of a long awaited daughter, Josephine Mae, adopted from Hunan, China.
